Overview

We are seeking a skilled React and TypeScript developer to build modern, highly usable web pages that interface with MongoDB data sources. This role focuses on developing two primary types of pages:

• Work-in-Progress Status Pages: Dynamic, real-time views of batch job status and activity.

• Data Management Dashboards: Interfaces for listing datasets, as well as supporting operations such as renaming, deleting, and creating new datasets.

This is a contractor position with flexible terms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Interactive Web Pages: Build and maintain dynamic webpages using React, React Router and TypeScript that provide users with real-time insights and management capabilities.

• Database Integration: Design and implement frontend components that query and interact with MongoDB.

• UI/UX Execution: Apply best practices in web development and design, leveraging visual-design tools to create clean, effective, and user-friendly interfaces.

• Quality and Reliability: Write clear, maintainable code with attention to scalability and performance.

• Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively with team members, communicate progress clearly, and ask questions as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• Programming: Proficient in React, TypeScript, with experience building web dashboards.

• Database: Experience interfacing with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases from the frontend.

• Web Technologies: Strong knowledge of modern web development toolchains and frameworks (e.g., React, React Router, Next.js, or similar).

• UI/UX: Familiarity with visual design tools (such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD) and modern frontend methodologies.

• Version Control: Comfortable using Git in a collaborative development environment.

• Problem Solving: Able to quickly learn new tools and approaches to deliver effective solutions.
